There are many aspects I really enjoy about blogging and one of them is being able to share with you my ideas, inspirations and a bit of knowledge about the many topics that I write about. I have quite enjoyed sharing with you my different projects, décor and how I organize things for celebrating the Christmas season. What has been very enjoyable and rewarding for me is to see what Christmas posts have evolved to be the most popular.

I have to admit that I just posted this a few weeks ago. I share the thinking that went into the design. Can you tell what themes I had in mind when I created this gorgeous Christmas mantel?
Most of my home is decorated in the traditional colours of red green and gold at Christmas time. But I have to admit I love the look of silver and blues. I use those colours along with a snowflake theme in my Christmas tablescape on the table in the dining room.

This post was not specifically written for planning Christmas dinner parties but I use the same planning strategies. There can be so many different dishes in a Christmas dinner and this is how I keep it all organized.
I have just as much fun decorating this banister as the Christmas tree. But I have to admit because of its length it’s a pretty big project every year. I share how I was able to create it on a budget.
There’s are loads of wonderful ideas for decorating for Christmas but the reality is that all of the lovely decorations have to be packed away and stored till next Christmas. I share a very doable practical method for organizing and storing Christmas Tree decorations that keeps them damage free, doesn’t take up loads of room and is ready to go for the next year.
A couple of years ago we had to replace the artificial Christmas tree that we had for about fifteen years. We invested in a pricey quality pre-lit tree that came in big bulky heavy storage box. We quickly found out that the tree was not going to go back into the box that it came in. So I came up with my own much improved storage idea!
I love the look of deco mesh and invested in a few rolls to see what I could create with it. I am so impressed with how easy it is to work with and all of its creative possibilities. I made nine fabulous red deco mesh bows for the banister and share how I made them.
I should have called this post ‘Timesaving Tips For Decorating A Christmas Tree’. After having decorated many Christmas trees, some of which were failures and some of which were successes I have come up with foolproof strategies for decorating a tree that you can be proud of year after year.

I actually wrote this post for an outdoor fall arrangement but this post is significantly more popular than the other nine listed here for the Christmas season. Apparently there are a lot of creative interested individuals who wanted to learn how to make bows for their various Christmas décor projects. I have to thank my dear long-term friend who taught horticulture and took the time to teach me how to become a bow making expert. I am thrilled to share with my readers the same technique. I created a very detailed step-by-step photo tutorial showing how easy it is to make and how anybody can make pretty bows too!
