How To Sew A Christmas Stocking Printable Pattern – Part 2 ~ Welcome to Part 2 for how to sew a Christmas stocking. In this post I share with you the pattern I designed and created for sewing this gorgeous Christmas stocking.
The detailed instructions for how to sew this Christmas stocking are provided in How To Sew A Christmas Stocking Photo Tutorial – Part 1. This tutorial also provides information about what materials you will need to buy to complete this project. I decided to split the instructions up into two because it would have made a very lengthy post and I was afraid it would get too confusing and cumbersome.
I created a printable pattern in PDF format for you to print off and use to sew your Christmas stocking. But this pattern is made into 8 different PDF’s. You will need to print off and cut each one and piece it together to make the Christmas stocking pattern pieces. I had to do it this way to create the size of stocking that I wanted for this sewn Christmas stocking.

I recommend just using tape to join the sections for each pattern piece together. Then trace and cut out the taped pattern onto white freezer paper. I recommend recopying the pattern onto white freezer paper because it has just the right sturdiness to be pinned onto fabric. You will need to cut out two of each pattern piece after it has been pinned to the fabric.
But here is a bit of a timesaver! I actually sewed four stockings at the same time so I made four pattern sets. This way I could do all of the pinning and cutting out at the same time for all of the stockings at the same time.
This is what each pattern piece will look like and the link to each PDF.
Once you have created the pattern you can now have fun sewing your Christmas stocking!
