Inexpensive Easy Fall Vignette ~ It is a lot of fun to gather items to create a simple vignette for the fall season. Here are some inexpensive ideas!
Fall will be officially arriving next week! I have to admit I don’t mind the cool crisp air and I love the colours outdoors and bringing them indoors.
I have a gorgeous piece of furniture in my kitchen and that is the buffet. That is my kitchen buffet. It serves as a coffee station for the Keurig and stores my dishes and accessories for my tablescaping. I have previously shared my tips and ideas for how to do this inexpensively in Teal, Yellow And White Easter Tablescape and in Tips For Creating A Beautiful Christmas Tablescape. I love creating tablescapes and vignettes for the different seasons and celebrations.
Here is my…
Inexpensive Easy Fall Vignette
Last year my daughter and I had fun creating My Fall Vignette Just For Fun that cascaded down the staircase. This year I created this inexpensive easy fall vignette on my kitchen buffet just to add a bit of colour and décor to this lovely piece of furniture and to celebrate fall! Let me explain how I put it together using items I already had as well as craft store, dollar store, thrift store and grocery store items.
Fabulous Fall Sign
I bought an outdated tired looking dry mounted print for a couple of dollars at the thrift store and upcycled it into a chalkboard. Here is the full tutorial for how to make your own Inexpensive Easy To Make Chalkboard Sign.
Then I just decorated it with two rust coloured strips of removable trim accents that I bought at Michaels with a coupon.
The roll of pink trim accent is going to be used on a storage project that I am working on right now and will be sharing that project on the blog in the near future.
I have had the fall leaves for quite awhile in the house and don’t remember where I picked them up but you have to know I did not pay full price. I just attached them with double-sided tape.
Then I just wrote the simple message ‘Fabulous Fall’ using basic cursive writing with white chalk. I didn’t spend the time to be really creative with the message or the font and colours because I just wanted to create a simple easy fall vignette.
Small Pumpkins In A Rectangular Dish
I just used a dish I had in the house and filled it with green floral filler that I bought at the dollar store and have used in other projects like this Shamrock Table Centerpiece I made for St. Patrick’s Day.
I bought the three small orange pumpkins at the grocery store for about one dollar each. I didn’t spray paint them because I liked how the orange colour looked resting on the green floral filler.
Orange Vase With Fall Silk Flowers
I have to admit the vase was a bit of a splurge because I paid $10.00 for it but it was perfect and I know I will use it for lots of different things in the future. I filled it with white floral filler that I also bought at the dollar store and have previously used it on different projects like this Valentine Table Centerpiece.
The fall coloured silk flowers were just a spray I had leftover from this Fall Double Wreath I made for my front door.
Orange Candle And Black Candle Holder
The final touch is an orange candle that I bought at the dollar store and the black candleholder at the thrift store.
So that’s it. That is my Inexpensive Easy Fall Vignette. It’s amazing what can be created with a little bit of creativity and a whole lot of resourcefulness. I chose to keep it simple because sometimes the guideline ‘Less is More’ can look pretty and decorative too!
I kid you not. Just as I finished writing this post the work team arrived to do their magic on the next stage of renovation work in the kitchen. I am so ready to have the work completed but I know quality takes time. Stay tuned for my new kitchen reveal!
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are inspired to create your own inexpensive easy fall vignette!
