Traveling With Cleansing Cloths ~ Thanks to Cottonelle for sponsoring today’s discussion!
I recently returned from a fabulous vacation in Palm Springs, California. It was our first time to visit the area and I was so amazed at the beauty and how unique and diverse the landscape was. I also discovered new cleansing cloths from Cottonelle® to use after going to the toilet. These cleansing cloths keep you clean and refreshed and are totally flushable! Simply divine.
While in Palm Springs we spent time relaxing by the pool, did a bit of outlet shopping, checked out some of the restaurants for lunch and dinner but most of our time was spent exploring. My favourite was the day trip we took to Joshua Tree National Park. This 794,000 acre park consists of the Colorado and Mojave Deserts. It’s home to hundreds of plant and animal species that have adapted to the intense sun, 100༠F (38༠C) temperatures and minimal water. Thankfully this unique desert landscape is now a protected area because the scenery and landscape is stunning.
We toured a huge area of the park by car and stopped to take photographs. There were so many wonderful rock formations and plants that I had never seen before. My favourite was the showstopper that the park was named for and that was the Joshua Tree. This is what it looks like…
and this is what a forest of Joshua Trees look like!
When going on day trips like this it’s smart to be prepared by having food to eat and lots of water to drink to help cope in the dry and hot climate. I don’t know about you but when I drink a lot of water I have to use the toilet a lot. There were some well equipped restroom facilities in the park but we also packed cleansing cloths that kept you feeling a little more clean and refreshed after sitting in a car a long time and walking around in the heat and dust of the desert.
I had heard about the Cottonelle® Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths and the Cottonelle® Clean Care Toilet Paper here in Canada. But it was by sister-n-law who convinced me to try the wet+dry system and give it a try while we were in Palm Springs. So I visited the CVS nearby and bought both products.
I bought the larger dispenser of 42 cleansing cloths for the bathroom but I also brought it along for our day trip to Joshua Tree National Park. It’s pretty easy to pack in the car. It also doesn’t hurt to throw in a roll of your own toilet paper just in case too! I felt very comfortable using the flushable cleaning cloths and toilet paper in the restrooms in this park because they’re environmentally friendly by being totally flushable! Now that’s really smart.
I am back home in Canada and I am totally sold on this product. I love feeling fresh and clean throughout the day and this is such an easy way to stay that way after going to the toilet. This is such a brilliant product idea! Personal hygiene for having a clean bum has been taken to a whole new level by using this wet+dry system. I am actually wondering why it took so long for a company to produce and manufacture flushable cleansing cloths? Well done Cottonelle®! I am wondering too why it took me so long to give this product a try? Now I’m convinced and I’m hooked!
If you want to find out more information you will want to click here and check out the CVS website. They would love to hear your thoughts on their Facebook page about using a wet+dry system to keep your bum clean and dry. I am having just a wee bit of giggle that we are now talking about bathroom routines and how to have a clean bum. Who knew and what fun!
I didn’t take a photograph of the restrooms in Joshua Tree National Park but I did take lots of the Joshua Tree!
Here is a baby Joshua Tree. It will grow pretty tall with the tallest being 15 meters (49 feet).
Here is a full grown Joshua Tree. and yup that’s me! This gives an idea how tall these trees get despite growing in a desert.
And this what the branches look like up close.
This is an even closer perspective!
It is quite a stunning tree set against a stunning landscape!
And here is Cottonelle® Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloth dispenser displayed in my bathroom and near the toilet ready to use now that I am back home. It even fits in with the decor!
As always, the opinions expressed are totally mine. I do really love this product. It’s so nice to have a clean bum!
What are your thoughts on having a clean bum with the wet+dry system? Have you tried it yet?
Here are two other field trips I shared on the blog I invite you to check out too…
